A repeat of the Moss Valley Meander, but starting and finishing at Lees Hall pond. A bit longer than previous races so adding details a little earlier than usual. Run anytime from Saturday 1 August to Sunday 16 August inclusive (Facebook won’t let me create an event longer than 2 weeks, which is why it starts on 3 August but you can run 1-2 August if you want). Map and checkpoints here: (below)James Halse on facebook
For the Moss Valley section, check Sean’s detailed guide for Season 1 Race 3
The race is checkpoint based – the indicated route and downloadable GPX are one option.
Inherited from the Moss Valley Meander
50 points for fastest time. Everyone else gets a percentage – if the winning time is 1 hour and you take 2 hours, you get 25 points. Plus a 10 point bonus for collecting litter en route or on recce.
