2019 The Inaugural Cat Lane Canter
In March 2019, the inaugural Cat Lane Canter was organised with the aims of
- Raising some money for three local schools – Newfield Secondary, Carrfield Primary and Meersbrook Bank Primary
- Raising awareness of the fantastic woods in the Gleadless Valley
- Getting more people active
Dozens of volunteers helped to run the event.
It went really well. 56 finishers for the short route and 102 for the long route.
Full results (google spreadsheet) here (2019)
There was a nice write-up by the Steel City Striders.
